Have been coming here since their old location . Staff is always very friendly. Restaurant is always clean. Food is really good. Our favorites are the papri chaat, cholay batura and CTM.

Aside from the great food, the customer service is superb. We visit this place a lot and every time, the service is exceptional. Gopi has been great to me, my wife and kid all the time. Their lunch buffet is something you need to try at least once in your life and it will definitely hook you. Once you taste their butter chicken, everyone else's will taste mediocre.

The flavors in bombay style burger and veggie omelette were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Even the buffet is perfect there. My family really enjoyed. Highly recommend to go there!!

Food was very fresh and hot on pickup. Service was excellent I was greeted with a smile and hello. The restaurant was very clean and tidy decorations were nice and a lot of information about the food they prepare. The menu had so much variety on it there's something for everyone's tastebud. Food was very tasty my family loved it. I ordered aloo parantha for the whole family and blueberry pancakes for my nephews. I also added masala chai with my order. Perfection and very tasty I definitely recommend this place 10/10. Take your whole family with you. You won't regret it.

My go to Indian restaurant! Staff super nice and respectful and the food is great. Definitely recommend going inside and looking at their desserts section. Tons of space inside and the buffet is pretty good as well. Absolutely love their vegetable Pakora.

Located in the same plaza near Seafood City and Planet Fitness so there's a lot of parking nearby. They advertise a lunch buffet which I have to take them up on. Service was really good; water cups were constantly being refilled and our servers were always checking up on us to see if we were doing okay. Plenty of rooms for bigger parties here and they do have booths alongside tables to sit at. Food was great and the naan came out fresh. Portions were a bit small but we still managed to make it out with leftovers.

I really enjoyed my to-go meal from Chaat of India. I had the following items: Chana Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Veg. Biryani, Chole Bhature, Tandoori Chicken, and Dahi GolGappa. I ordered some items mild and some medium; none were overly spicy to me. I actually didn't have a dish I didn't like. Even the Tandoori Chicken, which I've found to often be overcooked at other places, was cooked perfectly here. Everything had good flavor and taste. I read they have a buffet, so I can't wait to return for that one day soon!

This review is long overdue. First, I believe what sets Chaat apart is the freshness of their spices especially in comparison to similar establishments. You can actually taste them. Love that. Second, they have the best butter chicken in town. Although I haven't been to every spot of the kind around Sac, why venture out when I know this place consistently delivers in flavor? My other go-to is the lamb curry which is also very good but it's really about the butter chicken. I love their vegetable samosas as well. Always perfectly crispy (whether I pick up or get DoorDash) and finished with a healthy sprinkle of their salt/spice blend. I need to try more things from their menu, including the array of sweets, but have been ordering my usual favorites each time. I do think their "hot" can be hotter but this might be the result of adapting to local tastes. I might just need to push harder for ACTUALLY hot when I order from them. I tried to do so the last time I was there in person but the uncle at the counter didn't take me seriously. Lol Good quality, good value and flavorful. Highly recommended!

I love Chaat of India. This is my go-to Indian restaurant and it never disappoints. I like to get my Butter chicken Hot and oooh it's so good. I would love to find the time to go in and do the lunch buffet because the staff always recommend us to and I know I would be in heaven doing so. Service is always quick, efficient, and kind. They've had an update inside and it is really beautiful. I enjoy the seating style and almost get tempted by the dessert case every time I come in. If I choose to dine-in, I know there's no way I'd be able to avoid it. It smells absolutely delicious inside and it's a place I'll continue to get as long as i'm in the Sacramento area. I moved to a different state before and would constantly think about this place, it's that good.
